That's right, as if Jeremy, Kol, and Carol Lockwood's deaths this season weren't enough (not to mention Alaric, Lexie, Jenna, and everyone else who passed away during the previous seasons), executive producer Julie Plec has revealed that one Mystic Falls resident won't make it out of this season alive:
The big question on every Vampire Diaries fan's mind? Just who is going to meet their maker? The Original siblings seem like unlikely choices since they're getting their own spin-off show, as do the core trio of Elena, Damon, and Stefan (besides, Elena already "died" last season). The idea of Caroline or Matt meeting a tragic fate is just too upsetting to even contemplate, so we're thinking it might be...Bonnie. Perhaps her barely-contained powers will finally spiral out of control in a way she can't come back from? Or maybe it'll be centuries old vampire Katherine who gets staked during the finale?
