After air grinding on Nicki Minaj and picking up three new trophies at the American Music Awards, Justin Bieber hit up the after party with a very special companion: Ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez. Or maybe not so ex.

Despite reports of a drama-filled attempted date night earlier in the weekend, Bieber, 19, and Gomez, 20, were spotted arm-in-arm at an AMAs after party hosted by Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun. The pair chatted with Bieber's mom Pattie Mallette (who was also his date for the evening) and seemed comfortable around each other. According to reports, Jelena cuddled and kissed at a secluded back table before leaving together at 2:30am.

On Saturday night Selena Gomez and pal Taylor Swift enjoyed a girls night out at Osteria La Buca in Los Angeles. Maybe perpetual breakup queen T-Swift offered some love advice to Gomez that sent her back into Justin's arms?
