Finished second in the Swedish version of "Idol" after Daniel Lindström. In February he released his first album The Anthem with the hit-single Money For Nothing.
He has an older sister, Rosa which means Pink in Swedish.
Speaks 3 languages: Sorani (Kurdish), Swedish, and English.
His second album, Darin released in September, went platinum.
His parents fled Iraq.
Traveling with some friends but will be back in the studio soon to record his third album. [July 2006]
