April 2004: In the break between filming the third and fourth installments of Harry Potter (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) & Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)), he appeared as the special Harry Potter guest at the Armageddon Sci-Fi and Comics Convention in Auckland, New Zealand.
After he read the first book of Harry Potter, he would dress up as Harry and run around his room. This was before he got the part of Neville.
