• Has studied at the Sylvia Young Theatre School, one of the most prestigious stage schools in the UK.
• Is dyslexic.
• Knew he wanted to be an actor after watching a performance of Lionel Bart's musical "Oliver!" and being inspired by the role of Artful Dodger. He would end up playing the Artful Dodger in Oliver Twist (2005).
• After auditioning fourteen times, he was finally beat off 2,500 other boys to win the role of Paul in Pure (2002).
• Plays football, golf and tennis.
• Enjoys surfing, a sport he was introduced to by his co-star Jeremy Sumpter while they were on location in Australia filming Peter Pan (2003).
• In Canada and London filming The Lazarus Child. [August 2003]
