For his role in the movie Salt (2010), they dyed his hair and eyebrows blonde so he looked like a young Russian spy in training. Alex did a Purell commercial with young Supergirl, Malina Weissman and Avatar 2 star, Bailey Bass. Alex and his brother Max were both Drama students at the The Fame High School in NYC.
