To play the role of Alexander (Young Lex Luthor) on Smallville in Season 7, Connor had his hair dyed from blonde to red. When he returned to the show in Season 8 he was asked to shave his head. In October 2010, Connor returned one last time for the final season of Smallville in the episode 'Harvest' in which he played the role of Alexander Luthor, a clone of Lex. He received high acclaim from tv critics for his performance where viewers watched him transform from Alexander to Lex Luthor before their eyes. On this occasion, Connor once again had his hair dyed red and also wore a bald cap for his final scene.
