Mini Biography
Chris Richards (SAG name Christoper Paul Richards) was born in NYC and is following in the footsteps of his parents, who have performed in numerous Broadway shows, feature films and Network TV Series.
In 2018 ABC cast Chris as Joey Cleary, a series regular in Tim Doyle's new ABC fall sitcom, "The Kids Are Alright", with Michael Cudlitz & Mary McCormack. In 2017 Chris made his Network prime time debut as Justin, a series regular in the CBS fall sitcom, "Me Myself and I", along side Bobby Moynahan and John Larroqette. Chris recently finished starring in over 500 performances of "Finding Neverland" on Broadway (one of the longest runs of one role by a boy in Broadway history) with Mathew Morrison and Kelsey Grammer. During his time on Broadway and while going to school full time at the Professional Performing Arts School in NYC (Alumni: Clare Danes, Jesse Eisenberg, Alicia Keys), Chris also performed in 12 of the first 24 episodes of Showtimes new hit, "Billions", co starring as Damian Lewis son; Dean Axelrod. Also during this time Chris was cast as the lead by Warner Bros for the Pre-Broadway workshops, as Charlie in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" along side Tony winner, Christian Borle and in "Second Hand Lions" as Walter with Jame Naughton and Tom Wopat.
Some of Chris's other credits includes top of show co-star in the 2017 season of NBC's: "Law & Order: SVU" with Ice T & Mariska Hargatay, Donn Marston in "Wonder Woman & Professor Marston", along with Luke Even and Rebecca Hall. Some might recognize Chris's voice singing one of TV's most recognizable theme songs on the new HBO/PBS "Sesame Street". Chris was also hired to perform at the White House for a TLC TV special, and Millions saw Chris perform in Macy's Thanksgiving Parade on NBC he also appeared on ABC's "GMA" and a variety of other shows.
Chris is also an amateur magician and can perform over 50 card tricks.
