Mini Biography
Daniel Bristol was born on December 4th, 1996 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and grew up in Nanaimo, Vancouver Island to an artistic family. His father is a graphic designer and his mom is a marketing manager. His childhood babysitter was actor Brett Dier who went on to star in Jane the Virgin (2014), which inspired him to give acting a serious shot. Growing up, Daniel received his Shodan Ho Black Belt in Goju-ryu Karate after training for 11 years and puts the same hard work, dedication, and commitment into his acting. Daniel started taking classes at Spotlight Academy with Jacqui Kaese and as a child actor, landed roles in Slap Shot 3: The Junior League (2008) (2008) directed by Richard Martin, The Uninvited (2009) (2009) directed by Charles Guard & Thomas Guard, Sucker Punch (2011) (2011) directed by Zack Snyder, and won a Joey Award for best monologue.

After high school, Daniel auditioned for and was accepted into the prestigious 3 year Conservatory Acting program at Studio 58 under the direction of Kathryn Shaw where he performed onstage in 6 of their Mainstage Productions. One of them being the Carol Bolt award winning play Mortified (2018) by Amy Rutherford directed by Anita Rochon; Cabaret (2019) directed by Motion 58 Entertainment's Josh Epstein which broke all Box Office records and is the highest grossing show in all of Studio 58's history; and the critically acclaimed Inhale (2019) by Ivy Charles directed by Hannah Pearson & Fay Nass. Some of his film acting instructors included: Kerry Sandomirsky, Garry Chalk, Jennifer Copping, and Daniel Doheny.

Graduating in 2019, Daniel continued his stage career and quickly made his professional theatre debut in the leading role of Ben in the hit production of The Birds and the Bees (2020) which auditioned all across Canada. Written by Mark Crawford and directed by Miracle Theatre's Ted Price, Daniel acted opposite critically acclaimed Canadian actress Frances Flanagan. The show's run was extended twice and raised over $100,000 for Children's charity. One reviewer wrote "Bristol is a big-eyed young man whose casting call was spot on. He certainly brings everything he has to the role, enthusiastically snotty-nosed, exposing himself literally and figuratively during his shining performance" Soon after, out of 3000 actors from 85 Countries, the Vancouver-based actor was the sole Canadian to reach the global finals of the World Monologue Games (2020) and came in 2nd place overall out of the whole world for best Monologue (A point behind Disney's Chen Tang who played Yoa in the live action Mulan (2020)). Daniel is keeping busy in Leo Award winner Joyce Kline's 1920s short film Cancelled Stamp as Doctor Reid and in the production of The Café which is scheduled to run in 2021.
