His fellow members of Jump5 nicknamed him "COJO" after the fashion critic, on Access Hollywood, because of their resemblance.
On April 17, 2011 Brandon married Ashley Radford Hargest. They have a son named Mason. Ashley is pregnant with their second son.
Since Jump5 broke up Brandon has gone on to be a music producer and managed services advisor. Together with his family they have started The Hargest Academy.
Brandon is the older brother of Brittany Hargest.
